What is the Doctrine of Christ?

“Whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock.”

We live in a time unparalleled in the earth’s history. God is preparing the earth for the return of His Son in His glory and has invited those who will keep covenant with Him, as outlined in the Book of Mormon, to participate.  In our generation Zion will be redeemed, Israel will be gathered, and Christ will return in glory.  He asks us to make the oath of offering up the sacrifice of a broken heart and contrite spirit.  In return he makes an oath back to us is that He will baptize us with fire and with the Holy Ghost - which we did NOT receive at confirmation.

The baptism of fire and baptism of the Holy Ghost is the sanctification that prepares a man, a woman, or a people to enter into the Lord’s rest in this life.

This is more than to see Christ in vision and even more than to have Christ visit us on this earth like he did to his Apostles and the Nephites after his resurrection.  To enter into his rest is to have an ascension experience like Moses or Nephi had when they went up to the high mountain, not an earthly mountain, but the heavenly mountain where Christ reigns in the fullness of his glory.  This is the requirement to enter into the gates of New Jerusalem.

As the Doctrine and Covenants testifies, Joseph Smith only had the opportunity to lay the foundation of the restoration during his first ministry.  He will return and finish the restoration which is the rock cut out of a mountain without hands as prophesied by Jesus Christ in the Doctrine and Covenants, Book of Mormon prophets, Isaiah, Jerimiah, Ezekiel, and etc.

The fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is the doctrine of Christ.  We invite you to learn more and participate.

The Doctrine of Christ

  • Baptism of Water

Two baptisms of water are outlined in the Book of Mormon: one by the Aaronic Priesthood into the Preparatory Gospel, and one by the Melchizedek Priesthood into the fullness of the Gospel.

  • Baptism of Fire and the Holy Ghost - First Comforter

We did not receive the baptism of fire and baptism of the Holy Ghost when we were confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This ordinance has not been available since the death of Joseph Smith. However, the heavens have again been opened, making this experience possible in our day. The baptism of fire and baptism of the Holy Ghost will be the most powerful spiritual event of one’s life until entering into the rest of the Lord. This was the endowment that Joseph Smith administered.

  • Entering Into the Rest of the Lord - Second Comforter

It is the privilege of God’s people in every generation in which the fullness of the Gospel is on the earth to enter into the presence of Jesus Christ in the fullness of His glory. This is the Second Comforter, being sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise, to be declared Just and True, to have our calling and election made sure. This is the intent of the doctrine of Christ.

The Redemption of Zion

The Scriptures proclaim that Zion would be redeemed before the Second Coming through the return of Joseph Smith and his fellow laborers in a new restoration. That restoration is now taking place.

We must qualify, by living the doctrine of Christ, as the strength of the Lord’s house to participate in the prophesied end time exodus to be led by Joseph Smith in his return, the establishment of Zion and New Jerusalem, and the gathering of Israel.

Awakening to our awful situation

All is not well in Zion! God’s prophets in the Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine and Covenants all prophesy of an end time apostasy after the latter-day restoration. Moroni specifically warned us, the Latter-Day Saint Gentiles, that secret combinations would infiltrate and take over the Church.
